Job description
We are Rotate.
We help airlines and airports make better commercial and strategic decisions about air cargo. We do this through strategy consulting, world-leading market data, and powerful software products.
Founded in 2022 by a group of ex-aviation strategy consultants, we’ve grown into a 40+ person team with backgrounds in consulting, data science, and software engineering. We're based in Utrecht and passionate about shaping the future of air cargo.
About the role
We’re hiring Product Owners to join the Product team and take the lead on our Sales Cockpit and our Fleet & Network software products.
Until now, our Product Managers have also worn the Product Owner hat. As we grow, we’re looking for POs who lives and breathe Agile delivery, know how to manage a product backlog like a pro, and can translate real-world needs into technical stories that deliver value.
You’ll be working hand-in-hand with the Product Managers, Developers, and key stakeholders. You’ll bring structure, clarity, and energy to our delivery process. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our product organization.
What are the products you will be working on?
Glad you asked!
Sales Cockpit is our data-driven software solution designed for airline cargo sales teams. It helps them identify the most relevant commercial opportunities and have more impactful, insight-driven conversations with customers. By turning complex data into tailored sales recommendations, Sales Cockpit empowers teams to focus on what truly moves the needle.
Our Fleet & Network and Sales Steering software support airlines in maximizing profitability by building optimal fleet and network plans, and by fine-tuning sales strategies to get the most out of existing capacity.
What you’ll do
Own the backlog: prioritize what matters most and ensure clarity on what’s next.
Collaborate with the Product Manager to align business goals with technical delivery.
Run agile ceremonies like refinement and planning sessions, keeping the team focused and productive.
Translate complex needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Champion quality: spot edge cases, raise red flags early, and help deliver on-time robust, user-friendly software.
Communicate proactively with stakeholders, from consultants to developers, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.
Job requirements
What you bring
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Analytics Translator, or previous Tech Lead role in a tech or software company.
A strong grasp of agile delivery, Jira, and software development workflows.
A background in data analytics (SQL, Google Analytics, or similar) is a big plus.
You’re fluent in the language of both consultants and developers, you can bridge business needs and technical realities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
Why join Rotate?
We think you’ll love working here if you want to:

Write your own story. Feel like an entrepreneur within a well-funded company and established team. Help us build Rotate and share in our joint success. Partner with us to tailor your development and career ambition.

Live unforgettable experiences. Get exposed to different cultures, go on unforgettable offsites, experience the highs and lows of start-up life…and if you’re keen, travel the world and eat sushi in Tokyo!
Changing Pace and Challenges: Being a consulting practice, we offer the unique opportunity to see various challenges across various industries and within different organizations. This results in working with small and large companies, mature and unmature data journeys, and wide range of potential use cases.
